Challenge for the Configurator: Toyota Tundra - Drive

Customization is huge right now, but making a decision can be really difficult. In our configurator challenge, we give them free reign to build their perfect configuration for a particular model on a manufacturer's website.

The Toyota Tundra is the subject of this week's challenge. It is a significant player in the US pickup industry and will arrive in Australia in 2024 after finishing a right-hand drive development programme.

Describe your perfect Toyota Tundra in the comments section below, along with the vehicles we should configure next. There is a report submitted by Cincinnatiwire. You can check it for additional information

I bought the strongest Tundra TRD Pro even though I didn't think I'd get it to Australia because I wanted to build a giant Marty McFly Toyota pickup truck! Do the four by four right away!

Meet the Marty BigMac, an all-wheel-drive standard 3.5-liter hybrid V6 with Midnight Black metallic paint, red SofTex inside, and.

To make Marty and Jen actually fit in the back for that long overdue trip to the lake, I put the bed extender and tub liner to the TRD Pro, which already has a full-size four-door cabin and a bed that is 1676mm wide.

added the GoPro mount to record Hill Valley views, as well as the extremely helpful luggage net that ought to come standard on every ute.

What is the most bizarre specification you can get? The top-of-the-line Capstone and TRD Pro Tundras likely garner the most attention here.

In terms of my own garage, it needs to be a Tundra SR5 with the smallest cab and largest shelf available, but this is more of a "what if" than a "must have."

The SR5 Double Cab appears to be more of what we would refer to as an extra cab here, but interior photos demonstrate that there is still plenty of space. The same goes for the 8.1ft tub, which has a truck-like overall length of 6413mm, which is a staggering 1106mm longer than a HiLux and a big bed length of 2451mm, which is a full 900mm longer than a HiLux double cab!Unfortunately, the i-Force Max hybrid option is not available with the SR5 specification, thus this vehicle only has a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine with 290kW/550Nm of power. A coat of Blueprint paint, a Boulder cloth interior, and a pair of large towing mirrors—which are necessary to see past that enormous rear hull—are the only additional features.

Prices are low ($49,129 ($70,630) compared to some of the other designs displayed here, but for a very basic ute, that's hardly what you'd call inexpensive.

Although a base-spec Tundra is unlikely to be seen in Australia anytime soon, I decided on the SR model class. Since this is more than anyone actually needs in a car, let's face it.

Because I'm more concerned about my family and friends than the burden I'm hauling, I went with the shorter tub (with the spray-in liner) and larger second row. Of course, it has 44 capability. The more potent hybrid version is the one thing I truly miss, but I can make due with the 290kW.

Before I started specifying one, I was entirely on board with the Tundra TRD Pro train. However, there are only three colours available.
